Ed "Noob" Boon (born as Edward J. Boon on February 22, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American video game programmer and director who had been employed for over 15 years at Midway Games and currently works for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in its subsidiary company NetherRealm Studios. He is best known for the Mortal Kombat series, which Boon created with John Tobias.
